Uncle Toads Media Group was asked to help 4fini change their marketing tactic for the 2014 Vans Warped Tour. The Warped Tour is a world famous punk rock music festival tailored to alternative youth. It tours around the entire United States all summer long, stopping at over 40 cities.

Stages


Instead of using traditional avenues of marketing like television, print and radio, 4fini wanted to speak directly to their target demographic. To do this, a complete social media campaign was created. We decided to use Youtube, one of the worlds best avenues to reach music fans ages 15-25. We did a live webcast for over 9 hours from 5 stages. Over 100 videos were instantly uploaded to the Warped Tour’s Youtube page helping them gain over a half a million views in the first 48 hours. With a combined effort utilizing Instragam and Twitter there was a far greater reach than traditional marketing.

Now the Vans Warped Tour has major buzz surrounding the 2014 lineup. The massive library of new media will help promote the 2014 Warped Tour, increasing awareness and driving ticket sales for the rest of the summer. Now if only I can get my shoulder to stop hurting after that go in the mosh pit.
